this is a suspense head of account under major head Indian Railways -Revenue Receipts. this head is maintained to record all accrued earnings for the realisation of which the Railway administration is responsible. The suspense head traffic account is debited with all the earnings of traffic by contra credit to Abstracts XYZ . on realisation of the amounts , the suspense Head traffic account is credited by contra debit to cash.
